Description:
Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Paraprofessionals to join our team in the Rockland, Maine area. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in providing classroom support to teachers and students, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Openings:

  • 1 Behavior Program (4th-6th Grade)
  • 1 K-6 Resource Room
  • 3 Elementary Self-Contained in posite Program
  • 2 Middle posite Program

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and adapting materials for individual student needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to reinforce learning concepts and skills.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement strategies.
  • Support students with special needs in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
