Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Special Education Teacher in the state of South Dakota
• Valid and active license.
• Experience is recommended but new graduates are welcome

• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies, materials, and resources to meet diverse learning needs.Proficient in assessing and monitoring student progress through formal and informal assessment methods.
• Knowledge of specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and resources for students with special needs.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning abilities.
• Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage classroom dynamics and individual student needs.
