Electric Boat is seeking experienced pipefitters for their Quonset facility.
Key responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install the piping systems that carry the ship's liquids and gases
- Working with various systems including hydraulic, lube oil, high and low-pressure air and steam and seawater
- Enhancing systems to prepare for Company, Navy, and Government inspections
Successful candidates will have:
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, shipyard procedures, test documents, diagrams and perform basic layout functions
