ATI is seeking a Buyer of Conversion Services to Join our team in Monroe, NC and leverage your strategic procurement and management skills to make a tangible impact. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our supply chain strategies, foster innovative supplier partnerships, and enhance our internal capacity utilization. Your contributions will not only drive cost efficiencies but also support our commitment to quality and sustainability. Other Responsibilities:

  • Buying Services: Creating and issuing purchase orders, managing inventory levels at suppliers, managing suppliers performance (On-time, Quality, Responsiveness), negotiating price and managing revert generated at suppliers facilities. Ensure compliance in the Procurement process to policies of related areas: Finance, Quality, EHS, Customer requirements, etc. Serve as the lead of all activities and communications between suppliers and ATI SM.
  • Selling Services: Creating and releasing Sales Orders. Oracle batch creation, Loading ATI Specialty Materials (SM) within their allocated capacities and capabilities. Managing ATI SM's performance to the Customer. Managing Customer owned revert. Serve as the lead of all activities and communications between Customers and ATI SM.
  • Research and Development of New Suppliers: Identify, qualify and implement new suppliers to support business plan objectives.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for backgrounds in manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, particularly Oracle.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to comprehend technical instructions.
