Must be licensed in Colorado. No existing clientele required.

ABOUT YOU

You are friendly, welcoming and eager to make a difference in the lives of our seniors. You are creative and able to offer beautiful, polished hair and beauty services. You have experience with long and short hair, men’s and women’s’ cuts and color as well as manicure services. Your customers will leave your salon feeling appreciated and happy with their new looks.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking questions about their expectations

• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes

• Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)

• Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment

• Apply a wide range of hair coloring and process treatments (e.g., all-over color, highlights, perms and relaxers)

• Perform a range of manicure services (e.g., manicure, pedicure, gel and dip treatments)

• Form relationships with our residents and remember their hairstyle preferences

• Manage the salon schedule and serve walk-ins

• Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed; launder salon towels, capes and necessary items

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Licensed cosmetologist – both hairstyling services and manicure services in Colorado

• Work harmoniously with other employees and develop/maintain good employee relations and employee morale

• Demonstrated talent for interacting and communicating with a wide variety of people, particularly well cultured, successful seniors, family members and guests

• Maintains professionalism under pressure

• Punctual, reliable and dependable team player
