Description

We are currently seeking a Safety Admin Assistant to join our team in Oakhurst, CA. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to safety will be essential in maintaining our high safety standards. This position will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by implementing safety procedures and promoting a culture of safety consciousness.

Job Location: Oakhurst, CA

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of safety programs and policies
  • Maintain safety records, including incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and recommending solutions
  • Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs
  • Support the investigation of accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Generate reports and compile data related to safety performance and metrics

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a safety-related role or relevant field is highly desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with safety management software is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the utilities industry
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve safety goals
