Tool Room Machinists

We’re hiring Tool Room Machinists for 2nd shift in Grand Rapids.

Pay ranges from $28.47 - $33.00 depending on experience.

Candidates can choose between 4 ten-hour shifts (2:45pm-1:15am) or 5 eight-hour shifts (2:45pm- 11:15pm).

Qualifications of the Tool Room Machinist:

·2+ years Tool Room experience

·Willingness and ability to work on 2nd shift

·Must have demonstrated good math skills and be able to work with geometry, metric, fractions, and decimals.

·Must have shown good trouble shooting/problem solving skills.

·Must be able to utilize SolidWorks CAD software

·Must be able to program CNC lathe and mills with CAM software and

·conversationally.

·Must have a good understanding of all Tool Room equipment .

·Must be able to repair fixtures working from little or no detailed prints.

·Must be able to design and build fixtures working with part prints only.

·Must be able to repair basic hook machine parts such as paper steel, loopdie, and plunger.

·Must maintain good safety practices.
