Job Description
Job Summary
· Repairs, adjusts, installs, and trains on commercial food equipment, such as Combi Ovens, Rotisseries, Cook & Hold ovens.
General Accountabilities
· Adhere to all SAFETY policies and procedures.
· Maintain proper inventory of parts on personal company vehicle.
· Services and repairs commercial food equipment, such as Combi Ovens, Rotisseries, Cook & Hold ovens.
· Disassembles appliances so that problems can be diagnosed, and repairs can be made.
· Traces electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conducts tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds.
· Replaces worn and defective parts such as switches, gaskets, probes, circuit boards, or defective wiring, and more.
· Talks to customers or refers to work orders to establish the nature of appliance malfunctions.
· Reassembles units after repairs are made, adjusting and cleaning and parts as needed.
· Records maintenance and repair work performed on appliances.
· Maintains stocks of parts used in on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances.
· Observes and examines appliances during operation to detect specific malfunctions such as loose parts or leaking fluid.
· Observes and tests operation of appliances following installation and makes any initial installation adjustments that are necessary.
· Refers to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides to diagnose and repair problems.
· Communicates with MFG Service department for troubleshooting needs.
· Instructs customers regarding operation and care of appliances.
· Assembles new or reconditioned appliances.
· Cleans, lubricates, and touches up minor defects on newly installed or repaired appliances.

Job Qualifications
· Education: Training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate degree
· Experience: 1-2 years of commercial food service equipment repairs
· Clean Driving Record
· Able to travel long distances, overnight stays, and available to work weekends and holidays when needed.
· General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and codes a plus
