Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas Area
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists or Speech Language Pathologists Assistant for full-time positions within school districts in the Fort Smith, Arkansas area for the upcoming school year. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the educational success of students while gaining valuable experience in the field of education. Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state licensure in Arkansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
- Providing therapy services to students with diverse needs and abilities.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participating in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and other school-based meetings as needed.
