Quality Engineer

Job Posting Summary: Oversee and enhance product quality through rigorous analysis and support related to customer complaints within the production process.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or other related fields of study
• 5+ years of quality and/or engineering related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in tight tolerance machining and assembly manufacturing
• Experience in using simple gages (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Strong statistical and analytical skills
• Ability to travel to customers, suppliers, and provide quality support to all facilities
• Basic knowledge of applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems

Preferred Skills:

• ASQ and/or Six Sigma Certification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the voice of the customer to departments
• Analyze for root cause and verify corrective action effectiveness for internal and external nonconformances
• Develop and conduct audits on systems or products
• Support launch activities for new or revised products
• Contribute to quality, health, safety, and environmental maintenance
• Support other facilities and travel as required
• Work daily overtime and weekends when directed by immediate supervisor or to complete essential job duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
