Special Education Teacher - Hutchinson, MN

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Hutchinson, MN. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
• Provide support and accommodations to students during assessments and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of each student.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
