Job Opportunity: Automotive Mechanic

Location: Laingsburg, MI

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Compensation: Competitive, Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Record and document automotive information accurately.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose faults based on observation, mechanical testing, and customer input.
• Follow repair processes, including providing detailed estimates for repairs or replacements and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Conduct test drives before and after repairs to ensure mechanical soundness and identify any additional issues.
• Communicate vehicle conditions to customers and address any follow-up questions.
• Maintain a safe work environment and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 2 years of automotive repair experience, ideally at a dealership or independent automotive facility.
• Experience with pakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and alignments is preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance services, such as oil changes and flushes, is beneficial.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills are essential.
