Job Title: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Type: Contract Position, Full 2024-2025 School Year

Start Date: August 14th, 2024

End Date: End of the 2024-2025 School Year

Location: State: Texas (TX), District-wide Assignments

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Caseload: 50-60 Students (K-12)

Model: Caseload-based

Travel: Itinerant within District, No Additional Travel Compensation

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the full 2024-2025 school year in Texas. As a Bilingual SLP in our district, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, providing essential speech and language services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both English and Spanish, as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
