Job Description PURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Coordinator III, Facilities & Construction provides oversight of multiple projects from initiation to completion. Will be responsible for documenting project schedules, preparing technical summary reports for management and be the subject matter expert for project system entries. Will be the main point of contact for insurance and/or contracts related to the projects and handle project issues as they arise. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Oversees daily and some long-term operations of assigned area; actively maintains up-to-date knowledge of area and acts as a Subject Matter Expert within area and as a point of contact and liaison for internal and external constituentsPerforms research relevant to area of specialty; develops, monitors and maintains a variety of spreadsheets, databases, reports, and presents findings to internal/external constituents (may include LSCS Managers/Executives, community members, and/or outside groups and organizations)Enters, tracks and maintains a variety of data, including documents, spreadsheets and databasesResponsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with local/state/federal compliance of processes and documentation within assigned areaSchedules and prioritizes work and activities and develops and organizes training materialsCreates methods of evaluation of assigned area; analyzes results and makes recommendations for revisions to objectives and strategies, with a focus on continuous program improvement; takes part (or takes Lead) in developing new programsCoordinates and manages communication with suppliers for contract execution/compliance and project schedule finalization and updates; plans, schedules and coordinates various meetings/seminars/events, including training materials, and general supportMonitors and controls access to project database and provides guidance to internal and external users; reconciles budgetary entries within project system to ensure compliance in accordance with the referenced program budget and to provide cost savings recommendationsManages or assists with management of various project and/or program budgets related to current bond referendums, System revenues, and system-wide program initiativesTakes part in and/or leads special projects as neededResponsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned

- Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Hiring salary range is $48,152 - $55,375.
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
