Our Heavy Industries Group is looking to hire a New York State Licensed Hydraulic Crane Operator for a project in Painted Post, NY.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operate hydraulic cranes in accordance with all safety protocols and procedures.
- Inspect cranes before and after each use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Operate crane controls to lift, move, and position loads with precision and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and signalers to coordinate crane movements.
- Understand load capacities and adhere to weight limits to prevent overloading.
- Adhere to all relevant industry regulations and standards, including OSHA requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on cranes, such as lubrication and minor repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or accidents during crane operations.
- Stay updated on advances in crane technology, safety procedures, and regulations through training and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- New York State License as a Hydraulic Crane Operator.
- Proof of work experience with similar responsibilities as listed above.
- Valid driver's license.
