Pay: $18.00/hr.
Summary:
LEAD Technical is currently looking for a Die Shop Technician for our client in the Rockledge area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the cleaning, maintenance and storage of dies in this manufacturing facility. This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE role that is available immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, clean and store dies in die shop.
- Work to communicate die availability and schedules to technicians and press personnel.
- Select and remove dies from storage racks.
- Check dies against specifications prior to scheduled usage to ensure conformance, including measuring, disassembling, and inspecting surfaces and alignment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with extrusion press and machining
- Ability to read and edit blueprints and technical drawings
