Excavation & Lawn Installation

Join our Excavation & Seeding team and help us “Build More Than Just Beautiful Landscapes. People. Partnerships. Communities.”

From grading and seeding lawns for brand new homes, to installing drainage systems to protect existing properties our excavation teams do it all, but working for Smith Lawnscapes is much more than that!

Core Responsibilities:

-Knowledge of specific materials, methods, equipment and tools necessary to complete various projects, i.e. lawn installation and repair, grading, drainage, etc.

-Operate necessary equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.

-Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required

-Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying

Work Conditions:

-Fast Paced

-Various weather conditions; rain, cold, heat, humidity, wind, dust and noise

-Occasional weekend work may be required.

-Previous similar work experience of 2 or more years (preferred, not required)

-Must have a valid driver's license (chauffeurs or CDL preferred)

-Ability to walk, stand, or crouch for long periods of time, and lift over 50 pounds repeatedly
