What matters most as the medical records technician:
- Pay starting at $17 / hour
- 12 month contract opportunity with benefit access including medical plans, dental, vision, and more
- Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm schedule
Your new role as the medical records technician:
- Prepare and import clinical documents into the electronic medical records system
- Use imaging devices and software to produce quality document scans and record development
- Index records into the proper patient records in the EMR
- Ensure all scanned documents are legible and clean
- Identify and correct errors and discrepancies in medical records and files
Your experience to be the medical records technician:
- Previous experience in a hospital working with medical records
- Previous experience working with a document imaging system preferred
- Proficiency with computers and ability to type 25 wpm
- Will be required to push or lift objects up to 30 pounds
