.Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: Novato, Marin County, California

Job Summary: This role involves caring for a seven-year-old girl with epilepsy, which includes tasks such as lifting, transfers, and driving to appointments. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will administer skilled nursing care to the patient in a home health setting. 

Compensation & Benefits:
The LVN/LPN position at Interim HealthCare offers a competitive salary of $35 to $40 per Hour, paid weekly. Additionally, we offer many comprehensive benefits packages.

Requirements:

- Active and valid LVN license in California
- Valid driver's license and car insurance
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Recent TB tests taken within the past two years
 

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proactive behavior, professionalism, and a positive attitude in all patient interactions.
- Maintain strict hygiene standards, including refraining from artificial nails and fragrances to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Wear professional attire consistently while on duty to uphold nursing practices.
- Adhere to guidelines that prohibit personal phone use and sleeping during shifts, except during designated breaks.
- Commit to a minimum of three months and 40 hours per week of service, with availability for day and night shifts on 5 to 7 days a week.
- Consistently demonstrate reliability and dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Provide a two-week notice before leaving the position to facilitate continuity of patient care.
- Work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of the healthcare team.
- Exhibit patience, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to maintain a calm composure in challenging situations, with a focus on not taking things personally.
- Possess current CPR certification and the capability to safely lift and transfer patients. 
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately and in a timely manner as directed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, documenting observations and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
