Your role as a Forklift Driver - 1st ShiftAs a new Forklift Driver on the 1st Shift at PDM Distribution Services, you can expect to operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse. You'll assist in loading and unloading products, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean workspace. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, working from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Are you a good fit for this Forklift Driver - 1st Shift job?To excel as a Forklift Driver at PDM Distribution Services, you need to have previous forklift experience and a good penmanship. You should be able to lift 50 lbs, engage in frequent physical movements, and work while wearing personal protective equipment. Adaptability to work in various temperature zones, including cold and hot environments, is essential.
You must also be comfortable working in areas with dust and chemicals. Your ability to handle these physical demands and environmental conditions will ensure success in this role.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must have previous forklift experience
- Good Penmanship
- Lift 50 lbs
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting and other active movements
- Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are present
