Job Description
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper at Holiday Inn Express - Marina State Beach will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained at all times. This is a part-time, hourly position in a fast-paced hospitality setting, located in Marina, California.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $16 to $16.5 per hour, and will be paid biweekly. This part-time position includes paid time off and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas according to company standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies
- Vacuum, mop, and dust in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management
- Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or services in a timely manner
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
Schedule:
Monday and Tuesday will do general cleaning also known as House person
Wednesday and Thursday will clean rooms and any other available days
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
