JB’s Landscaping is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team in Hickman, NE. As an Irrigation Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of irrigation systems for our clients' landscapes. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on irrigation systems to detect any malfunctions or leaks.
• Repair or replace broken components of the irrigation system, such as valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
• Configure and program irrigation controllers according to the specific requirements of each landscape.
• Collaborate with the landscaping team to ensure that irrigation installations are properly integrated with the overall design.
• Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, water usage, and seasonal requirements.
• Conduct regular tests to validate the efficiency of irrigation systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on water-efficient practices and irrigation system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an Irrigation Tech or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, including valves, pipes, and controllers.
• Proficient in performing repairs and maintenance on irrigation systems.
• Ability to interpret landscape designs and integrate irrigation solutions accordingly.
• Knowledge of water conservation practices and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of outdoor work and maneuvering heavy equipment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
