Workday ETL Sr. Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end testing of data migration workflows, mappings, and transformations to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
• Perform data reconciliation and verification using SQL queries, comparison tools, and reconciliation reports to ensure consistency between source and target data.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Lead the development and execution of test strategies and plans for migrating legacy systems to Workday, leveraging migration experience.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes through ETL testing.
• Manage test environments, datasets, and configurations to facilitate testing across multiple Workday modules and environments.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Possess a strong understanding of data migration concepts, mapping, and transformation strategies.
• Have over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on testing enterprise applications, preferably Workday modules.
• Advantageous to understand HR and HCM concepts, business processes, and regulations.
• Familiarity with ETL testing methodologies, API testing tools, and techniques.
• Experience in developing and implementing data quality automation solutions using Python is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Relevant certifications in software testing and Workday are beneficial.
