Cyber Security Architect

Job Description

llc needed if in USA, daily rates. at least 10 years of experience,possible travel onsite

1. Develop and implement cyber security architecture strategies, frameworks, and solutions to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data. (Mandatory)
2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the organization's IT infrastructure. (Mandatory)
3. Design and implement security controls, protocols, and measures to mitigate risks and safeguard against cyber attacks. (Mandatory)
4. Collaborate with cross?functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into the design and development of new systems and applications.
5. Stay up to date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing security infrastructure.
6. Lead the evaluation and selection of security technologies and tools and provide guidance on their implementation.
7. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
8. Conduct security audits and assessments to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation actions.
9. Oversee the monitoring and analysis of security logs, events, and incidents to detect and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
10. Provide guidance and support to IT teams and stakeholders on security?related matters.
11. Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on cyber security best practices.
12. Participate in incident response activities and lead investigations into security incidents or breaches.
13. Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and security service providers as necessary.
14. Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
15. Maintain knowledge of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
