Tutor

Sylvan Learning Centers for Stafford, Fredericksburg & King George

Responsibilities:

• Provide three-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subject - No lesson planning required
• Implement personalized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
• Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
• Collaborate with the Directors to ensure students' academic success
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children or students in an educational setting
• Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management techniques
• Ability to educate and inspire students of different age groups and learning abilities
• Experience working with preschool or elementary school-aged children is a plus
• Proficiency in using learning technology and educational software
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues

Pay: $20.50 - $22.50 per hour
