Responsibilities

  • Perform various corporate accounting functions within prescribed time schedules and guidelines
  • Perform month end close procedures-preparing and recording multiple manual and recurring journal entries
  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, research outstanding issues and propose corrections
  • Responsible for preparing invoices for various service lines
  • Responsible for preparing and analyzing various monthly/quarterly financial reports
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with fellow team members and home office departments
  • Prepare timely and accurate work product, including insightful financial statement analysis
  • Review/prepare facility and corporate-specific ad hoc reporting requests from management
  • Work closely with team members, department heads and facility personnel, assisting with any accounting/financial questions or needs

Qualifications

  • BS in Accounting required
  • 2 + years experience in corporate or public accounting demonstrating a working knowledge of debits and credits in the general ledger
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Outlook, Word
