Responsibilities:
The HVAC Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Designing HVAC systems for various construction projects, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and regulations.
2. Conducting load calculations to determine the HVAC needs of each project.
3. Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of HVAC systems.
4. Evaluating and improving existing HVAC systems, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and performance.
5. Preparing detailed reports and presenting design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
6. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in HVAC technology and incorporating them into designs.
7. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC systems design.
3. A Professional Engineering (P.E.) license.
4. Proficiency in load calculations.
5. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to non-technical individuals.
8. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
9. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
10. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
