Job Title: Full-Time Special Education Teacher

Soliant is currently seeking a committed and dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 23/24 school year. This is a full-time position located near Meridian, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students based on their unique learning requirements
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of student performance and progress

Qualifications:

• Valid California Teaching Credential in Special Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, policies, and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
