Medical Biller - Full-time

IMMEDIATE MEDICAL BILLER OPENINGS

MELVILLE, NY (IN OFFICE, NOT REMOTE)

Qualifications:

• 2 years of healthcare administration experience
• Experience working with medical claims
• Experience using EMR system, EPIC preferred
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Submit Primary/Secondary insurance and follow-up
• Verifying accuracy of patient insurance and demographic information.
• Perform follow up on all outstanding accounts assigned in accordance with established
• policies and procedures.
• Analyze Remittance/Explanation of Benefits.
• Verify Insurance Coverage, Contact Guarantor Regarding Insurance Discrepancies.
• Strong communication, documentation, follow up, analytical and computer skill sets.
• Ability to accurately update patient accounts, update insurance Information, initiate insurance billing.
• Performs other job-related duties, as required and assigned.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid Governmental Benefits & Regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Insurance Coverages.
