SERVER BANQUETS

The Carmichael Elks is a non-profit fraternal organization with an active membership and outside rental facility.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Server to join our team! The Server is the face of our banquet's and plays an integral role in our customers dining experience. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, serve food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. Salary is hourly plus shared tips from the event.

Responsibilities:

• adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
• Serve customers food in an efficient manner.
• Refill drinks.
• Answer questions about the food menu and preparation
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff
• Wipe down tables, chairs and other surfaces.
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware from tables.
• Check with customers periodically during their meals to ensure they are satisfied

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server is preferred
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
