Remote work is not available for this position. The Residential Shelter operates 24 hours/365. There is a flexible schedule for this role, including some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Weekend Manager - Shift hours: Saturday and Sunday 11a-7p (12p-8p can be considered).

May work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Reporting the Sr. Shelter Manager., Team leader for the Shelter's night and weekend Advocates. Protects clients' confidentiality at all times and ensures the safety and security of all Shelter staff and residents. Maintains the Shelter residence and property in good condition at all times. Provides direct coaching to Shelter staff and residents, operating in an atmosphere of dignity, respect, and trust. May work nights, holidays as needed.

• Oversee Shelter operations under the supervision of the Sr. Shelter Manager
• Organize food pantry, properly store food, follow proper food handling and cooking safety protocols
• Monitor and document food allergies and ensure all staff know about concerns and special needs
• Maintain staffing structure; ensure Shelter Coverage
• Manage donation intake and distribution; complete proper documentation
• Implement evening and weekend activities (enrichment and recreational) at least two nights per week

Qualifications: Associate's degree in Social Work or related field and 2+ years of experience in any of the following areas: social work, women's studies, psychology, counseling, or Human Services Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties of the position. Previous team leader experience is a plus.
