Administrative Assistant

The candidate must be well organized, sensitive to handling confidential information, flexible and highly results and detail oriented and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks

Duties:

 Assist department in carrying out various duties including but not limited to:
A. Assists in coordinating and planning of parades, festivals, events, and sponsorship
programs.
B. Assist in preparation, organization, and distribution of fact sheets, news releases,
and other material to media representatives and other persons who may be
interested in learning about or publicizing the institution' s activities or message.
C. Maintains media information.
D. Responds to inquiries from the public and media representatives.
E. Provide internal and external customer service/support as needed.
F. Maintains files on all published information about the organization.
G. Filing, copying and other office functions.
H. Review incoming mail prior to manager
I. Composes and prepares routine correspondence and reports.
J. Arranges attendees for corporate events.
K. Maintains and updates departments budget.
L. Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed
