Position: Accounting Assistant

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay: $18.10/hr to $26.43/hr (depending on experience)

Experience: Prior experience in performing financial, statistical or other clerical work desired

Education: High school diploma or GED

Type: Full-time; Contract 

Schedule: Monday - Friday,

Job Description: 

• Prepares, verifies and processes bills and similar documents
• Assist with entering purchase requisitions and maintain records of money received
• Compose and type routine correspondence
• Reconciles expenses related to travel

Position Requirements: 

Knowledge of English, spelling and arithmetic

• Maintain and file office records
• Skilled in operating office equipment and ten-key adding machines
• Ability to make change with speed and accuracy
• Apply good judgment in accordance with laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
