About the Position:

This opportunity is for a Field Quality Representative (Quality Liaison). The Field Quality Representative (Quality Liaison) position will report directly to the Representation Manager. Field Quality Representatives (Quality Liaisons) are ultimately responsible for the growth of revenue and customer base. This role has a base salary plus individual and team incentives.

Compensation:


Base salary starts at $41K annually. The position is eligible for a bonus based on team performance and company growth.

Position Summary:

This job requires connecting with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner. The use of persuasive communication skills to gain the interest and involvement of others in the work process is an important aspect of the job. An extreme sense of urgency is needed, combined with getting work done in complete, accurate detail and in accordance with company standards and policies. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty and a feeling of responsibility for completing work both quickly and correctly. A faster-than-average work pace is necessarily combined with impatience for results. Follow-up of delegated work must be very thorough. Decision-making will be done with the ideas and advice of others, but always carefully and cautiously within the guidelines of established company policy. Selling ideas to others and the ability to train, teach and motivate a team are strong aspects of this position. Change is an ongoing occurrence in this job and will be approached conservatively and with the support and guidance of management.

Field Quality Representatives are responsible for providing quality liaison services for assigned customers/suppliers. A Level 1 Field Quality Representative is an entry-level training position responsible for obtaining knowledge of operations and duties within the Representation environment. Employees may remain in this training position for a maximum of 12 months.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities -

Minimize disruptions (spills, stockouts, downtimes) to the OEM Facility

Spill coordination (including yard activity) of supplier spills when applicable

Learn to help coordinate containment/sort/re-work when applicable

Learn to provide on-site/local sorting and testing (dimensional/material/functional) when required

Learn to develop and communicate inspection standardized work/methods

Learn to understand and verify receipt of breakpoint material – record vehicle or material breakpoints and make sure that all old stock is quarantined when applicable

Respond to requests for support 24/7

Support Controlled Shipping activities as required

Basic ability to assist in problem-solving teams (PRTS, GCA, 24 hr., Warranty, JD Power, etc.) as required

Knowledge of PC software applications including Word, Excel, and Company Software

Demonstrates automotive industry knowledge

Demonstrates Quality Control knowledge

Valid driver's license ­required

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 2 years Automotive knowledge and experience

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit for an extended period. Able to be mobile throughout Team Quality Services facilities and customer locations
  • Ability to work with and around others, up to 2/3 of the work period
  • Ability to lift or push a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a scanner, computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components and software
  • Occasional participation in events outside of regular office hours may be necessary that may include attendance at community meetings and events
  • Travel to TQS customer or service locations may be required
  • Candidate must comply with all customer and service location requirements, including, but not limited to, vaccination status. Employment for this position is contingent on the candidate obtaining and maintaining all customer and service location requirements, which may be subject to change at any time.
