The AppleOne Team is currently seeking an experienced Route Supervisor for a fantastic local company. The Route Supervisor is responsible for supervising all assigned routes and associated drivers and helpers at the depot location ensuring compliance with all company policies. Will act as liaison between upper management and driver personnel ensuring efficient day to day operations and customer satisfaction. This is an ON-SITE role with a Monday-Friday 5am to 3pm schedule (must have weekend flexibility). The salary range for this opportunity is $75K/ DOE.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain a continuous commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for drivers
by investigating and removing any unsafe conditions
• Conduct safety trainings and ensure drivers are adhering to established safety
standards
• Plan and execute effective training and relevant new hire orientation for new drivers
• Maintain a radio presence with drivers; actively dispatch while in the field
• Conduct quarterly route observation reports for all drivers and provide feedback
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five or more years of experience in management role
• Five or more years of experience in a Transportation/Waste Management
background
• Must have Class A License
• Bilingual- Spanish
