Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Control Sander. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our cabinets meet our stringent quality standards before they reach our clients. You will be responsible for meticulously sanding and finishing cabinet surfaces to perfection, ensuring that each piece meets our quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect cabinet surfaces for imperfections, rough spots, or irregularities.
- Operate sanding equipment to smooth surfaces and edges of cabinets.
- Ensure uniformity and consistency in surface texture and finish.
- Touch-up and repair any defects or imperfections in the finish.
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
- Document and report any quality concerns or issues to management.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE QUALITY INSPECTION RELATED EXPERIENCE ON RESUME.
- Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in using various sanding tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
