Responsibilities – Service Technician:

• Identify necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work, following dealership and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Document services performed
• Effectively utilize available technologies to enhance customer experience
• Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participate in required training
• Record all hours worked accurately in company’s time-keeping system
• Demonstrate the company’s core values
• Follow safeguards, rules and regulations complying with the company’s , Federal and State policies and procedures.
• Observe all Federal State and local and company safety rules
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Service Technician:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with medical conditions to perform the essential functions.

• Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Technical training or commensurate technical experience required
• Completed manufacturer training to perform warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs
• Certified / senior technician with Toyota preferred
• State inspection/emissions license as required by the State
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
