General summary of Duties: The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for promoting employee satisfaction, resolving conflicts, and creating a positive employee experience. The role reports in-person in Gilbert, AZ.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programs.
- Assis the Director of HR in conducting investigations related to employee complaints and grievances.
- Create a review process for terminations and corrective action.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies and procedures.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate effective resolution.
- Collaborate with the Director of HR to ensure the ensure compliance.
- Create and deliver training sessions on employee relations topics.
- Review and provide feedback on employee performance evaluations.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations.
- All other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent related field experience.
- HRCI or SHRM-CP certification is required.
Experience:
- 5+ years Human Resources Management experience
- Extensive CA employment labor law knowledge is required
Skills:
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of ethics
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Extensive knowledge of all HR laws (ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, OSHA)
