General summary of Duties: The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for promoting employee satisfaction, resolving conflicts, and creating a positive employee experience. The role reports in-person in Gilbert, AZ.


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programs.
  • Assis the Director of HR in conducting investigations related to employee complaints and grievances.
  • Create a review process for terminations and corrective action.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR to ensure the ensure compliance.
  • Create and deliver training sessions on employee relations topics.
  • Review and provide feedback on employee performance evaluations.
  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations.
  • All other tasks as assigned by supervisor.


Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent related field experience.
  • HRCI or SHRM-CP certification is required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years Human Resources Management experience
  • Extensive CA employment labor law knowledge is required

Skills:

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ethics
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Commitment to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Extensive knowledge of all HR laws (ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, OSHA)
  • CA Labor Law and Compliance
