Job Description
Thank you for applying, we are looking for a talented logistical specialist to join our team at Ft Riley.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains and executes the supply and property accountability plan and implanting instructions for the Mission Training Complex.
- Locates and moves materials and parts between work area to expedite processing of goods, according to schedules and proprieties, and keeps related records.
- Reviews inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required materials and priorities of customer orders.
- Confers with supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them or location, availability, and condition or materials.
- Manages inventory and maintains essential supplies.
- May update and maintain inventory records, using GCCS-Army
- May also participate in reviews/reports on reviews of contract data requirements drafts and correspondence; preparation and processing of associated logistics management required data.
- Administers, prepares, review, and maintains the master records for the establishment and change of logistics plans.
- Attends functional and physical configuration audits and formal qualification reviews.
- May supervise one or more lower-level employee.
- Interface with the technical staff to ensure feasibility and workability of implementing instructions and procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain close working relationships with Senior Level government personnel, soldiers and teammates.
- United States citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
Education:
- BA/BA
- In lieu of BA/BS, High School graduate with at least 3 years of military logistical and sustainment experience.
Experience:
- Experience with Logistical management including DCGS-A / GCSS-A.
- Knowledge of logistics management plans and implementation directives to establish a disciplined environment necessary to ensure logistics life cycle maintenance.
Working Conditions: inside office on Government facility.
Required Travel: Minimal
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly (SCA)
Work Week: Monday - Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)
Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements)
Overtime: as required
Contract Length: More than 1 year
