As one of the only non-chemical dependency or dual diagnosis mental health facilities in the country, we help women live healthier lives by providing customized, safe and holistic care.   We treat women with trauma.  So if you have trauma informed therapy experience or are looking to have a very rewarding career in treating trauma related disorders please take a look at Kinder in the Keys.  We are looking for a seasoned professional or experienced intern to join our team as we are growing.  Kinder is a multi bed facility that provide services to women around the country.  We treat C-PTSD, PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression disorders and those with a history of eating disorders.


Job Responsibilities:


Essential Tasks

  • Individual and Family Therapy
    Work with female adults using various modalities including individual, couple, family and group therapy, as needed.
  • Provide direct psychotherapy treatment, performing client psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans and guiding the treatment process, developing exit plans, providing psychological and emotional support to clients. Clinician will also be responsible for administering pre and post surveys to participants..
  • Group Therapy Facilitation
    Facilitate group therapy sessions.
  • Reporting
    Maintain accurate records and charting of client files. Ensure that client documentation is completed in a timely manner. 
  • Meetings
    Attend individual and group supervision as well as agency meetings. Actively utilizes clinical supervision to develop and hone intervention skills and strategies. Works collaboratively with other support staff.

    • Experience or interest working with survivors of trauma and providing trauma-informed care.
    • Demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to relate to diverse client and community population via telephone and in person.
    • Master’s Degree from accredited college or university in the field of marriage and family counseling, social work or psychology and/or all academic preparation required for licensing or internship as defined by state licensing requirements.
    • Must be licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or a Registered Intern.
    • Satisfactorily pass background check and DOJ fingerprint clearance.


Pay will depend on license status at the time of hire.
