Job Description

Provides optimal nutrition care to patients and residents through screening of nutritional status, assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing appropriate nutritional support, monitoring, adherence and response to nutritional care plans, educates patients and families, and serves as a source of nutrition information for the department, hospital and the community.

Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday



Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Completed internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • One (1) year experience in health care food service preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations

  • Nebraska Medical Nutrition Therapy License (LMNT)
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) with current Nebraska registration
