Licensure Candidate or Therapist - Cottonwood & Jackson County

FULLTIME INTENSIVE INHOME FAMILY SERVICES (I.I.F.S.)

FOR HIGH-RISK YOUTH AND FAMILIES PROGRAM

LICENSURE CANDIDATE, OR THERAPIST - COTTONWOOD & JACKSON COUNTY

*Licensure Candidate $70-$72k (DOE)

*Licensed Therapist $75k-$80k (DOE) 

JOB ACTIVITIES: 

• Intensive In-Home Family Services (2-3 times per week per case) and collaboration with community agencies (schools, social workers, foster homes, probation).
• Staff need to have a close working relationship with each Social Worker from the County (to 'wrap' services around the child).
• Available for crisis calls.  
• Afternoon and Evening Services (about 4) to best connect with family work schedules.  
• Documentation and Billable hours need to be completed in a timely manner. 
• Full-time staff provide 109 client hours per month out of the 173 working hours available in a month (40 hours x 4.3 actual weeks per month).

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Licensure Candidate: 

• Completed master's degree and working toward licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP). We provide licensure supervision.

Licensed Therapist: 

• Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP).

EXPERIENCE: 

• Demonstrated ability to work with children and families experiencing mental health issues in a direct care role.
• Familiar with a variety of counseling techniques with theories to aid in the care and treatment of individuals with mental health needs such as behavior modifications for children, child development education, communication, decision-making skills, anger management, social skills, leisure, self-esteem and basic home budgeting.
