Job Description:

White Wood Sanders use a variety of tools and techniques to prepare components for the finish operation. Ensures components meet quality specifications and production expectations. Uses problem solving techniques to correct and communicate process failures. Optimizes process through continuous improvement techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment and tools daily.
• Knowledge of material, method and tools of the position.
• Knowledge of the production process, quality standards, and scheduling.
• Requires strong attention to detail of wood characteristics.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
• Ability to work and communicate well with others.
