Bard Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of commercial Heating and Air Conditioning systems has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in our Madison, Ga. Plant. This is a 1st Shift - 10 hour, 4 day week schedule Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm . Candidate must be able to work overtime when needed, which may include Fridays and Saturdays.

Summary:

Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble metal, electrical or mechanical HVAC products in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties. Uses wiring diagrams to complete wiring on sub-assemblies. Assembly of metal, electrical or mechanical parts requiring some precision, use of hand tools. Prolonged standing at a work station for up to 10 hours per day required with limited lifting and walking needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wires assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
• Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
• Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Sheet metal experience is preferred.
