QUALIFICATIONS

Here are the minimum requirements we're looking for:

• Current journeyman card
• 4+ years of lineman experience

While not required, our ideal candidate meets some of these preferred criteria:

• 4+ years of experience with electricity, power distribution, and substation maintenance
• Experience as a heavy equipment operator
• Experience in an industry like oil, gas, or mining
• Valid Class A CDL
• OSHA 10, MSHA, SafeLand, or CPR certifications
• Ability to work from heights and in all weather conditions

As a Journeyman Lineman, you work a 4/10 schedule. Keeping safety at the forefront of your mind, you skillfully troubleshoot and solve problems with power lines, electrical substations, and power distribution systems. You perform routine maintenance and more complex repairs as needed to keep everything functioning normally and the electricity flowing optimally.
