You will trim and prepare standard cuts of meat as specified in-store guidelines and follow the stores meat merchandising plan. The deli associate's goal is to drive sales within the meat department and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities
- Cut and trim meat using deli slicer
- Package and display meat in an attractive manner
- Maintain proper levels of prepared sliced meats for sandwiches
- Receive and inspect meat throughout the day to ensure quality
- Follow standards of sanitation and quality control
- Willing to do other tasks assigned by management
- Must be 18 years of age
- Experience using meat cutting equipment is preferred
- Experience with customer service/retail work
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30-40lbs
