Responsibilities:
Maintenance Technician
Location: Lester Prairie, MN 55354
Qualifications:
Must have a general maintenance background with primary strength in electrical work.
Proven experience troubleshooting industrial control systems, including:
AC/DC motors (troubleshooting, maintenance, theory of operations)
AC/DC drives (troubleshooting, maintenance, theory of operations)
Motor starters (theory of operations)
Speed feedback devices such as encoders and tachometers (troubleshooting, theory of operations)
Transducers (Sensors) for tension, pressure, temperature, and level (troubleshooting, calibration, theory of operations)
Programmable Controllers (PLCs) (troubleshooting, theory of operations)
Control signals, familiarity with common signal types in industrial controls
Proficiency in reading hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, ladder logic/control diagrams.
Skills in electrical/electronic, welding, machining, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with a strong emphasis on electrical.
Availability for overtime, weekends, and possible off-shift work.
Demonstrated good performance in current role.

Troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure a safe work environment.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment to improve reliability and reduce unscheduled downtime.
Assist in specifying new equipment to ensure proper application.
Install new facility and production equipment according to schedule and ensure it performs to its intended purpose.
Develop, recommend, and implement improvements to facilities and equipment to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
Repair or upgrade existing machine components to maintain a supply of replacement parts.
Complete paperwork on repairs, preventive maintenance, parts requests, and project work to ensure proper documentation and communication of needs.
Follow AIB and ISO guidelines while performing daily functions.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment to improve reliability and reduce unscheduled downtime.
Assist in specifying new equipment to ensure proper application.
