Delivery Driver / Warehouse

Our client, Door Depot, located in Spring Valley, WI is seeking a team member to join their team as a Delivery Driver / Warehouse. An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, innovative, and able to work autonomously when necessary. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to jump in and grow along with our company!

The Routes for deliver may occasionally have overnight stays to finish the route. When this person isn’t delivering on routes, they are in the warehouse and those hours are usually 7:00am-3:30pm with a 30min lunch. 

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday.

As a member of the Door Depot team, this person will be responsible to:

• OSHA compliance, at all times.
• Successfully complete OSHA 10 hour training
• Keeping yourself, co-workers, equipment, and warehouse in safety compliance.
• Equipment and safety inspections.
• Maintain drivers log as necessary.
• Safely operate forklift to move material.
• Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving, delivering and, shipping process.
• Notify purchasing with shortages or damages.
• Tag non-stock/restock.
• Check in product by PO’s, Tag with job names, turn in receiving paperwork, and pull work orders.
• Stock warehouse supplies
• Maintain and monitor stock level, order main stock inventory.
• Pull materials and load truck for deliveries.
• Stage job materials daily for customers.
• Pull materials for customer pick-up’s.
• Receive material from vendors.
• Put material away in proper location.
• Deliver customers orders, assist with unloading at each drop off point.
• Unload customers and unload deliveries.
• Ship out material to vendors and customers (UPS, FedEx, etc)
• General clean-up duties around the warehouse and yard
• General maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Repair equipment, tools, and building maintenance.
• Schedule truck service and maintenance, as needed.
• Schedule for trash and fuel
• Annual inventory
• Travel, usually one night stay over
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements:

• CDL is required
• Forklift experience is required
• Certified forklift operator
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Physically capable for nature of work
• Ability to stand or be on feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
• Clean driving record including a valid state motor vehicle license
• Ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screen in accordance with company requirement
• Be able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety
