Home Health Aide

The caregiver plays the most crucial and essential role within our company, Just Like Family Care Givers. The role of a caregiver at Just Like Family Care Givers requires compassion, a desire to assist others, assertiveness, and prioritizing the best interest of the client at all times. As a caregiver, you are present in the homes of our clients, providing assistance with vital activities of daily living, among other responsibilities. The responsibilities for each client may differ based on their level of need. The position requires versatility, acknowledging that the day-to-day routine may vary.

Role Responsibilities: This role offers flexible scheduling, requiring commitment for 3-4 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm. Expect guaranteed overtime every other week, ensuring ample opportunity for additional compensation. You must be available to work every other weekend. Please note, this position exclusively consists of 12-hour shifts.

• Assist with Medication Reminders

• Light Housekeeping/Laundry

• Encourage self care and client independence

• Transport client to errands and doctors appointments as needed

• Assist client with grocery shopping/meal preparation

• Ensure client safety

• Assist clients with any personal care that they may require: Including dressing, toileting, bathing, changing briefs and oral care.

• Monitoring and reporting any changes in the clients health, needs or behaviors.
