Industrial Electrician $20-$25 p/hr

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Industrial Electricians for our client in Huger. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!

Please note the pay rate for this role is $20 - $25 p/hr

Responsibilities:

• Pulling Wire Specifically CAT 5, CAT 6, and Fiber
• Terminating Fiber, Slicing Fiber. Running Rigid Conduit, SO- Cable, performing 120 Power Install
• Review blueprints and building code specifications to determine work details and procedure
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Install maintain, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
• Bend and install conduit, lighting, and basic control systems.
• Perform wire and cable pulls.
• Participate in safety talks, audits, and related safety activities.
• Immediately identify, correct, and report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents.
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Work collaboratively with internal and external partners

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
• Must be local to Huger area
• A current/active license, certification, or trade certificate is a plus
• OSHA-10 Certification (we offer complimentary training if needed)
• Ability to efficiently bend pipe
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Open to day shift or night shifts
• Prior experience using small equipment is a plus
• Position may require a drug screen & or Background based on client site requirements
• (This Industrial position requires Hair Follicle)
